Thomas Gottschalk is a German television host, entertainer, and actor. He was born on May 18, 1950, in Bamberg, Germany. Gottschalk is best known for hosting the popular German TV show "Wetten, dass..?" ("Wanna bet..?") from 1987 to 2011.
